After 3 miles, take the Merritt Mill Rd. ramp toward S Greensboro St. Turn left onto Merritt Mill Rd. Turn left onto S Greensboro St. S Greensboro St becomes Smith Level Rd. Turn right onto Rock Haven Rd. Go ¾ of the way around the traffic circle into the large parking lot. The field is next to the parking lot.
From the west: Take I-40 E to exit 148 toward Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Turn right onto NC-54 / E Harden ST. Continue to follow NC-54 E for 20 miles. Take the Smith Level Rd. ramp. Turn right onto Smith Level Rd. Turn right onto Rock Haven Rd. Go ¾ of the way around the traffic circle into the large parking lot. The field is next to the parking lot.
From I-40: Take exit 278; go south on Highway 55 for approximately 5 miles. After going under the I-540 overpass, turn right on to McCrimmon Parkway at the traffic signal. Proceed until you see the school on the right.
From Cary/Apex: Take Highway 55 towards Durham and pass through High House Road/Highway 55 intersection. At the third traffic signal, turn left on to McCrimmon Parkway. Once you turn on to McCrimmon Parkway, proceed until you see the school on the right.

From east or west: Take I-40. Take Exit 266 (Hwy 86-Airport Road).
Turn toward Chapel Hill (right turn coming from the west, left turn coming from the east).
Go about 2 miles and turn right onto Homestead Rd.
At the first stoplight, turn left onto Seawell School Rd.
Take the first right onto High School Road. Take the first left into the parking lot by the stadium field.
From east or west: Take I-40. Take Exit 266 (Hwy 86-Airport Road).
Turn toward Chapel Hill (right turn coming from the west, left turn coming from the east).
Go to the stop light at Weaver Dairy Road (probably the third light—only a short distance).
Turn left onto Weaver Dairy Road. Go two miles; high school is on the left.

Independence Point Parkway; 3. Trade St./Sam Newell Road; 4. Monroe Rd., Fullwood and Sardis Road. Turn Right onto Sardis Road (heading North toward downtown Charlotte). Cross Sardis Road North (first traffic signal). Go past Charlotte Christian School (on right). Turn right at Boyce Road (the first street after the school). Turn right into the park. Go to the end of the park road. Field is located at the end of this road.
From Statesville: Take I-77 South to I-85 North. Take Exit 48 for I-485 South. Then follow the instructions above.
From Atlanta/Spartanburg: Take I-85 North to I-77 South to I-485 East to Matthews (Exit 52). Then follow the directions given above. OR you can take I-85 North to Exit 48 (I-485 South to Matthews Exit 52 and follow the directions above. The choice will be determined by the time of day (e.g., rush hour). Avoid I-77 during rush hour. Traffic can be very unpredictable.
From all points North: I-77 South. Exit onto I-485 East. Exit 64A onto Pineville Matthews Road (Hwy 51) - heading East.

The school is on your right just past Hambright Road.

From the East or Independence Boulevard, take Idlewild Road heading west. Idlewild becomes Rama Road. Rama deadends into Sardis. Proceed right onto Sardis Road. Sardis Road becomes Fairview Road (at the Providence Road intersection). Proceed west on Fairview Road. Turn right on Colony Road. Stadium is located on campus on left at 2400 Colony Road.
From I-85, take I-77 North to Exit 23; Turn right onto Gilead Road. Go about 1 mile and turn right onto Rt. 115. Follow Rt. 115 South to Verhoeff Dr. Turn right onto Verhoeff Dr. The park is 3/4 mile on the left.
From I-77, Exit 23; Gilead Rd. to Statesville Road (NC21); Statesville Road (NC21) South to Verhoeff Dr.; Left on Verhoeff Dr.; Park is located 1/4 mile on your right.
From I-85; Exit 55 toward Huntersville NC-73; Turn Right onto Davidson HWY/NC-73N; left onto Old Statesville Rd./NC-115; Turn Right onto Stumptown Rd.; Turn Left onto Statesville Rd/US-21; Turn Left onto Vernhoeff Dr.;

From I-85 and the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport: Take Billy Graham Parkway East, toward I-77 South. Bear right onto Tyvola Road/Coliseum exit. After passing over the I-77 bridge, Tyvola Road becomes Fairview Road. After crossing Providence Road, Fairview Road will become Sardis Road. At the second light (Rama Road/Sardis Road intersection) bear right. Providence Day School’s main entrance is located on your right, approximately 300 yards.
From Uptown Charlotte: Take 3rd Street heading south. Make a left onto Queens Road and at the next intersection turn right onto 4th Street. 4th Street becomes Randolph Road after one block. Continue approximately 4 miles until Randolph dead ends into Sardis Road. Turn left onto Sardis Road. At the next light (Rama Road/Sardis Road intersection) bear right. Providence Day School’s main entrance is located on your right, approximately 300 yards.
Once on campus, follow road to stop sign. Turn left and park for Overcash Stadium field or proceed straight through the stop sign, follow curve and park near the exit for our Upper Field.

Continue north on Monroe Road for about 1.5 more miles passing McAlpine Park (on right). Greenway Park Elementary School will be on your right just before you reach a third traffic signal (Village Lake Dr.). Turn right into the school driveway. If you pass Village Lake Dr., you went too far.
From Statesville: Take I-77 South to I-85 North. Take Exit 48 for I-485 South. Then follow the instructions above.

From Charlotte or Statesville: Take I-77 to Exit 36, Mooresville. Turn onto Hwy 150 West (right turn from the north, left turn from the south) toward Lincolnton. Go through 5-6 lights (Super Target on your right) and continue on Hwy 150 for 1 ½ miles. Turn right at traffic light onto Perth Road. Go 2 miles. Turn left onto Stumpy Creek Road and go about ½ mile. The park is on your right. Go to the second entrance marked Soccer Complex. Fields are below.
From North: Travel south on I-77 to the Tyvola Road exit. Turn left (east) onto Tyvola Road heading toward SouthPark Mall. Go 2.6 miles. Turn right onto Park Road. Go almost 3 miles. School is on right, stadium at back.
OR take I-77 south to I-485 east (to Pineville/Matthews). Take the Hwy 51 exit to Matthews (east). Turn left onto Park Road immediately after left signal to re-enter 485. Turn left at second signal to stay heading north on Park Road. School is on your left at next traffic signal.
From East/South: Take Hwy 51 toward Pineville/Carolina Place Mall. Turn right onto Johnston Road. Johnston turns into Park Road at second traffic signal. School is on your left.

Take I-40 West towards Hickory/Asheville. At approximately 20 miles west of Hickory you will take Exit 100 (Jamestown Rd). Turn right off the exit
Go through 3 lights (2 of the lights are in front of Freedom High School) and make a right into Freedom Park immediately following the High School. Follow the road down to the tennis courts and park. You can see the field from Jamestown Rd.
Take I-40 West towards Hickory/Asheville. At approximately 20 miles west of Hickory you will take Exit 100 (Jamestown Rd). Turn right off the exit. Go through the first light, there is a KFC there, and at the second light make a left into the school parking lot, the football field is on your right. You can park down by the field, go pass the football field and you will see the driveway that leads down to the field.
| WEDDINGTON |
Take I-77 South to I-485 (Exit 2- toward Pineville). Take the NC 16/Providence Rd (Exit 57) toward Weddington. Turn right on Providence Rd or NC 16 travel approx 3 miles to Rea Rd. (just past hwy 84). Turn right onto Rea Rd until you get to Marvin School Rd. Go left and follow the road past Joe Kerr Rd. to Marvin School which will be on your right. (About 1 mile).
Take I-77 South to I-485 (Exit 2- toward Pineville). Take the NC 16/Providence Rd Exit (Exit 57) toward Weddington. Turn right on Providence Rd or NC 16 travel 2.6 miles and turn Left on Weddington Rd. (NC 84) travel 2.8 miles to Weddington High School. Pass the School and take your next Left which is Deal Rd. The parking entrance for the stadium will be at the Weddington Middle School entrance on your left.
Take I-77 South to I-485 (Exit 2- toward Pineville). Take the NC 16/Providence Rd (Exit 57) South toward Weddington. Turn right on Providence Rd or NC 16 travel 2.6 miles and turn Left on Weddington Rd. (NC 84). Travel 2.8 miles to Weddington High School. Keep going. About 1/2 mile past the school you will see the Optimist Park on your left. We will usually play on the football field.
| DURHAM |
From I-40 - Exit at Route 15-501 and head north for 1.4 miles. Turn left onto Garrett Road at the traffic light. When Garrett Road ends, turn right onto Pickett Road. At the next light, turn left onto Ridge Road. All three entrances to Durham Academy are on the right. The first driveway is for the Upper School gym lot which also includes parking for and access to the Upper School athletic fields. The next driveway is for the main office and academic buildings for the Upper School campus. The third driveway is for the Preschool and Lower School campus, including access to the Lower School gymnasium and an athletic field that is used by the field hockey, girls soccer and girls lacrosse teams from the Upper School.
From I-85 or the Durham Freeway - Exit at route 15-501 Bypass and head south. Exit 15-501 at Cornwallis Road and turn right onto Cornwallis. After 0.6 of a mile, turn left onto Ridge Road. After one mile, the entrance to the Durham Academy Preschool and Lower School will be on your left directly past an athletic field that is used by the field hockey, girls soccer and girls lacrosse teams from the Upper School. Keep going past the driveway to the PS/LS and the entrance to the Upper School is less than 100 yards down Ridge Road, also on the left. The entrance to the Upper School gym lot--which also includes parking for and access to the Upper School athletic fields--is the last turn on the left before Pickett Road.

From Raleigh: Take I-85 South/I-40 West to Rock Creek Dairy Road (just beyond Burlington).
Turn right at traffic light at end of exit ramp.
Turn left at next traffic light onto Highway 70 West.
(Highway 70 West becomes Wendover Avenue as you enter Greensboro.)
Turn right onto Battleground Avenue North.
Stay to the right and follow the overhanging sign to Lawndale Drive.
GDS will be on your left about 4 ½ miles from this point.
From Charlotte: Take I-85 North to the Holden Road exit. Turn right at traffic light onto Holden Road.
Stay on Holden Road (approximately 8 miles) until Benjamin Parkway. Turn left onto
Benjamin Parkway. Cross over Battleground Avenue (Benjamin Parkway becomes Cone Boulevard when it crosses Battleground Avenue). At second traffic light, turn left onto Lawndale Drive North.
GDS will be on the left about 3 ½ miles from this point.
From Winston-Salem: Take I-40 East to Highway 68 North.
Take Highway 68 North toward the airport.
Take the Airport Expressway which will become Bryan Boulevard toward Greensboro.
Take the New Garden Road exit. Turn left onto New Garden Road
Turn right onto Battleground Avenue. Turn left onto Pisgah Church Road.
Turn left onto Lawndale Drive. GDS will be 2 ½ miles from this point on the left.
From High Point (via Wendover Avenue): Take Wendover Avenue East into Greensboro.
Take Westover Terrace exit.
At the traffic light, turn left onto Westover Terrace. (Westover Terrace becomes Battleground Avenue.)
Take a right onto Fernwood. Take the immediate left onto Lawndale Drive.
GDS is located at 5401 Lawndale Drive.
From South of Greensboro: Take 220 North, which becomes Freeman Mill Road.
Freeman Mill Road becomes Edgeworth. Edgeworth merges into Battleground Avenue.
Lawndale Drive veers right off of Battleground. GDS is located at 5401 Lawndale Drive.
From Piedmont Triad International Airport: Take Bryan Boulevard toward Greensboro.
Take the New Garden Road exit. Turn left onto New Garden Road. Cross over Battleground Avenue.
Turn left at the stop sign onto Old Battleground Road. Turn right onto Lake Brandt Road.
Turn right onto Lawndale Drive. GDS is immediately on the right.
From the North (Martinsville) on US 220: Drive south toward Greensboro.
Pass Bur-Mill Park on your left; the turn off for Old Battleground Road is another 3 minutes down the road.
Turn left onto Old Battleground (across from Horse Pen Creek Road).
Proceed until a stop light. Turn left onto Lake Brandt Road
Go to the first light and turn right onto Lawndale Drive. GDS is on the right.
From the North (Danville/Lynchburg) on US 29: Exit at Cone Boulevard West.
Follow Cone Boulevard until a right exit for Lawndale Drive North.
Proceed north on Lawndale Drive for approximately 3 miles. GDS is on the left.
From the North: From Interstate 85: I-85 South merges with 1-40 past Durham. Follow I-85/I-40 into Greensboro. I-85 will split from I-40 West. Stay to the right, follow I-40 West towards Winston-Salem.
**Go approx. 7 miles and take the Wendover Avenue exit (#214). Turn right when coming off the exit ramp and follow Wendover Avenue approx. 3.8 miles to the Market Street exit. Turn right at the light at the bottom of the exit ramp. Follow Market Street for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto College Place.
From Highway 29: Follow I-29 South into Greensboro until it merges with South I-85/I-40 West. Stay to the right and follow I-40 West towards Winston-Salem. Follow directions from ** above.
From Highway 220: Follow into Greensboro (it turns into Battleground Avenue). Follow Battleground Avenue signs. Turn right onto Hill Street. Take immediate left onto Mendenhall Street. Continue for half a mile to the second light (West Market Street) and turn left. Take your first right onto College Place.
From the South:
From Interstate 85: Take Randleman Road exit off of I-85. Turn left at the top of the ramp. Turn left onto I-40 West just after you turn onto Randleman Road. Follow I-40 West towards Winston-Salem. Follow directions from ** above.
From Highway 220: Take I-85 North Exit. Then follow the I-85 directions listed immediately above.
From Highway 421: Follow Highway 421 to I-85 South. Follow the I-85 directions from the North.
From the West: Take Interstate 40: Follow into Greensboro. Take Wendover Avenue exit (#214). Stay on Wendover Avenue for 3.8 miles and take the West Market Street Exit. Turn right at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp and go 1.7 miles. Turn right onto College Place.
All home games wil be played at Pilot Elementary School.
From Charlotte: Take I-85 North to Greensboro. Take exit 122 (route 220 North - future 73 - Coliseum). Stay on 220 North, pass the Creekridge Road exit and pass (cross over) Interstate 40, through one stoplight at Coliseum Blvd. and go left on Lovette Street (the Division of Motor Vehicles will be on your left. This road becomes Aycock Street and then Westover Terrace, which runs in front of the school. You will pass the UNCG athletic fields. After the 4th stoplight you will see Grimsley on your left. Turn left on Campus Drive (NC Coaches Association building is on the corner) and turn right into the stadium parking lot. The Field House and team entrance is on the left end of the stadium.
From Raleigh or Winston Salem on Interstate 40 East or West: Take exit 218 (220 North - future 73 - Coliseum). Go through one stoplight at Coliseum Blvd. and go left on Lovette Street (the Division of Motor Vehicles will be on your left. This road becomes Aycock Street and then Westover Terrace, which runs in front of the school. You will pass the UNCG athletic fields. After the 4th stoplight you will see Grimsley on your left. Turn left on Campus Drive (NC Coaches Association building is on the corner) and turn right into the stadium parking lot. The Field House and team entrance is on the left end of the stadium.
From Charlotte, take I-85 North to I-40. Take I-40 West.
Take Exit #213, Guilford College Road. Take Guilford College Road North for about 4 miles. You will cross W. Market St. and then cross Friendly Ave. After you cross Friendly Ave., Guilford College is on your right.
Turn right into the first side entrance to the school from Guilford College Road. Park to the left of the stadium. Buses will be directed to the new, lower area. Vendors should turn right at the stadium and proceed to the large, enclosed parking area.
For the Clarion Hotel, at the off-ramp Exit 213 from I-40, go straight across Guilford College Road. The hotel will be just around the curve on your right.
From the North: From Interstate 85:
I-85 South merges with 1-40 past Durham. Follow I-85/I-40 into Greensboro. I-85 will split from I-40 West. Stay to the right and follow I-40 West towards Winston-Salem.
**Go approx. 6 miles and take the South Elm/Eugene Street exit (Exit #125). Alternative directions coming from the west (Greensboro):
Take I-40 from Greensboro. When you get to Raleigh, DO NOT take Wade Avenue. Stay on I-40.
Take exit 295. Turn left off the exit. You go about a mile, up a hill, then down to a big intersection, which is Avent Ferry Road.
At Avent Ferry Road, there is a Courtney's Restaurant . Take a left onto Avent Ferry Road.
You will go about 6 blocks; get into the right hand lane which will automatically go onto Athens Drive.
The school is on the left. Take the third left hand turn (no street name but this is Stadium Drive). This is the perimeter road that goes to the back of the school to the practice field (you would go differently if you’re going to the main field). You go about a half block and should see the field. You can park in the senior parking lot.
Coming from the east on I-40: Take Exit #290 (if you miss this exit, take Exit #289 and follow the directions below on coming from the west). Turn right at the lights at the end of the exit ramp. Go 0.2 miles and turn left onto Corporate Center Drive (at the first lights). Go 1 mile and turn right onto Trinity Road. The school is at the corner of Trinity Road and Edwards Mill Road, with the entrance off Edwards Mill Road (a left turn off Trinity Road, 0.5 miles from Corporate Center Drive).
Coming from the west: The most direct route is to take a right onto Edwards Mill Road from the Wade Avenue Exit (Exit #289) from I-40. The entrance is the second driveway on your right (0.5 miles from the lights at the bottom of the exit ramp) before you reach the lights at Trinity Road. The school is near Carter-Finley Stadium and is directly across Edwards Mill Road from the new Sports and Entertainment Arena, which is the home of the Carolina Hurricanes and NCSU Basketball.
Coming from the north, down US-1: Take the I-440 Beltline west to the Wade Avenue Exit for the Airport. Take Wade Avenue toward the Airport. Exit at Edwards Mill Road and turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp. The school is on your right before you reach Trinity Road.
Coming from the south, coming up US-1 or US-64: Follow the roads until they merge, and then continue on the merged route (which becomes the I-440 Beltline) to Wade Avenue. Take the Wade Avenue exit and turn toward the Airport. The second exit off Wade Avenue is Edwards Mill Road. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and the school entrance is 0.5 miles on the right (the second driveway on the right) and is directly across from the main entrance to the Sports and Entertainment Arena.

Take I-40 W. Merge onto I-440 E. Merge onto CAPITAL BLVD/US-1 North toward WAKE FOREST/LOUISBURG. Continue on Capital Blvd/US-1 (~ 10 miles). to New Falls of Neuse Rd. (across from Wakefield Ford). From Hwy #220: Exit at WANJU/Colonial. Take a left on Colonial to Campus.
Then right on McNeil Drive. Then left onto paved drive behind buildings to Lot 8 at top of hill/campus.
From I-81: Take Exit #581/220 through Roanoke.
Exit at Colonial Avenue. Take a left on Colonial to campus.
Take a right on McNeil Drive.
Take a left onto a paved drive behind the buildings to Lot 8 at top of hill/campus.
Take Highway 220 through Roanoke; it becomes Interstate 581 North.
At the outskirts of Roanoke (after the airport), take Interstate Highway 81 South (a left lane exit).
Take exit 140, which is the second Salem exit.
At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Thompson Memorial (which is Route 311).
At the first stop light, take a right onto Main Street.
Stay on Main Street for several miles, staying in the right hand lane. You pass (all on the right) a Burger King, McDonalds and KMart.
At the light past KMart, take a right onto Spartan Drive. Spartan Drive goes right to Salem High School. The field is on your right as you enter the campus.

Laney High School is on your right (Trask Middle School is on your left). To go to Laney's Stadium, make first right and continue on this access road until you come to a "dead-end" (at a one-way street) where you must turn and turn Left to stadium.
